According to the EPA's [Effluent Guidelines Program Plan](https://www.epa.gov/system/files/documents/2023-01/11143_ELG%20Plan%2015_508.pdf#page=48) (January 2023), over 95% of US landfills have PFAS present in the leachate. This includes 63 different PFAS, with some concentrations reaching up to 14,000 parts-per-trillion.
