The patent-pending SELPAXT treatment method is developed by Chromafora. The method uses a combination of chemical and physical retention for selective separation and removal of more than 90% of long and short PFAS chains. The ability to capture short PFAS chains makes the method optimal for heavily polluted water streams, such as landfill leachate. The results are detoxified water streams and extremely low levels of residual PFAS waste.
Furthermore, our SELPAXT technology offers complete, small footprint installations with low energy consumption, making them ideal to connect to existing treatment processes. All installations are individually configured for the specific water streams on site, thanks to a thorough analysis of each and every water stream.
